A known carrier structure comprising an upper and a lower layer and a carrier layer located therebetween, the layers being connected mechanically, is used as an erosion-protection mat for covering sown, inclined surfaces (slopes). In this arrangement, the cultivation of the carrier structure takes place only once the erosion-protection mat has been laid on the slope, it being possible, owing to environmental influences, for bare points to arise as a result of non-uniform cultivation. The novel carrier structure contains a substrate and is already cultivated on its upper side, as a result of which it is available as an immediately usable finished product, with the effect of finished vegetation, in order to be laid both on synthetic and on natural soil. The carrier structure is thus already cultivated beforehand under optimum gardening conditions before it is then laid, as finished vegetation, at its actual, subsequent location. |
