<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a reception of broadcast data even if a reception is not driven by a user, and to reduce wasteful power consumption in a broadcast communication of a mobile communication network such a mobile telephone. <P>SOLUTION: When a transmitting/receiving portion 101 receives broadcast notifying information at an arbitrary timing from a transmission server, and a broadcast information processor 102 determines that the information should be displayed to a user, an input/output processor 104 displays that the broadcast data can be received at an output portion 105. In the presence of a reception instruction of the broadcast data by a user operation from an input portion 106, the broadcast information processor 102 determines whether or not broadcast program information specified by a broadcast program information identifier is stored in a broadcast information storing portion 103. When it is not stored, a reception terminal 100 request the broadcast program information from the transmission server.
