<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an engine from running while discharging a large volume of NOx even when a storage tank of reducing agent solution is empty, etc. in an exhaust emission purifier of the engine which is provided with selectivity contact reduction catalyst and which adds the reducing agent solution to exhaust emission prior to inflow into the reduction catalyst. <P>SOLUTION: The purifier is installed with a liquid level sensor or a concentration sensor on the storage tank of the reducing agent solution and controls the engine with low output in response to an abnormal signal from the liquid level sensor or the like. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
