<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and accurately mold a sensor protector attached to a front end portion of an electric sliding rear door, and storing a sensor sensing a foreign substance caught therein. <P>SOLUTION: The sensor protector is attached to an electric sliding door 1, equipped with a C-shaped portion 12 guiding a harness wire 4 into a vehicular interior side, and formed by a die-molded portion D and an extruded portion E. Of the C-shaped portion 12 of the extruded portion E, a part interfering with a door panel 2 at an upper side of a belt line L is cut, and then, an upper end portion of the extruded portion E is inserted into an extrusion space portion 22 of a die 20 formed with a projecting portion 23 higher than a dispersion assuming lower limit Z at a boarder with the extrusion space portion 22 on a bottom surface of a die-molding space portion 21 while facing the C-shaped portion 12 downward. Furthermore, raw material M is pressed into the die-molding space portion 21 and prevented from flowing into the extrusion space portion 22 by the projecting portion 23, and the die-molded portion D is formed continuously from the extruded portion E, thereby molding the sensor protector. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
