<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf putter with a new offset and a shaft installing structure. <P>SOLUTION: A coupling member connects a tube and a shaft in a way that they are offset with each other. The axis lines of the tube and the shaft are approximately parallel to each other in the longitudinal direction. An alignment sign is provided to the club head. The tube is connected to a head at a certain angle so that the sign is blocked from the view of an user when the head is appropriately aligned at the time of addressing. In case the club head is not appropriately aligned the golfer can see the sign and thus know that the club head should be adjusted prior to the putting.
