PORTABLE TERMINAL, AUTHENTICATION SYSTEM AND METHOD, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize receipt certification with high reliability by a method that places a small work load on both a recipient and a delivery person without using a high-cost device.

SOLUTION: In a terminal used by the recipient, the personal identification can be performed by simple procedures by displaying the personal identification information with an optically readable code and reading the displayed code by a terminal used by the delivery person. Time information is included in the personal identification to thereby change the code in dependance on generation time. Consequently, spoofing by copying the code can be prevented and highly reliable personal identification can be performed.
