METHOD FOR PREPARATION OF SUGAR CHAIN SAMPLE, SUGAR CHAIN SAMPLE, AND METHOD FOR ANALYSIS OF SUGAR CHAIN

Disclosed is a method for preparing a sugar chain sample, which can reduce the quantity of an unreacted labeling reagent in a sample solution containing a labeled sugar chain.  The method is characterized by comprising the following steps (1) to (3): (1) contacting a sample solution containing a labeled sugar chain with a monolithic silica to cause the adsorption of the sugar chain component on the monolithic silica; (2) washing the monolithic silica with a washing solution; and (3) contacting the monolithic silica with an eluent to allow the adsorbed sugar chain component to elute from the monolithic silica.
