<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism for mounting and dismounting a stripper of a punch tool, by which mechanism, the stripper can be simply mounted and dismounted, and components can be easily assembled. <P>SOLUTION: The punch tool 4 comprises an inner bore 19 in which a punch 17 can slide, and a punch guide 18 which can mount and dismount the stripper 37 to its lower end. A stripper cap ring 36 having an inside circumferential hole 38 for holding the stripper 37 is rotatably fitted in the inner circumference of the punch guide 18 at its lower end. Radially oriented holes 39 are provided on the circumferential wall of the stripper cap ring 36. Steel balls 40 having a diameter larger than the thickness of the circumferential wall are inserted into the radially oriented holes 39. Radially recessed portions 42, 41 are provided on the stripper 37 and the punch guide 18 such that a part of the steel balls 40 can enter the radially recessed portions.
