PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver halide color photographic photosensitive material excellent in color reproducibility and image preservability even in rapid processing. SOLUTION: The silver halide color photographic photosensitive material has on a support at least one of each of yellow, magenta and cyan dye forming silver halide emulsion layers and at least one non-photosensitive hydrophilic colloid layer, wherein one of dye forming couplers is a dye forming coupler capable of forming an azomethine dye whose solubility in ethyl acetate is in the range of 1×10<SP>-8</SP>-5×10<SP>-3</SP>mol/l, the dye forming coupler is contained in an amount of 18-100 mass% based on a total lipophilic component, and one of the compounds represented by formula (I) is contained in the one non-photosensitive hydrophilic colloid layer.
