PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system for performing image forming processing by applying an appropriate profile.

SOLUTION: A printer system 10 (printing program 5) uses a color value corresponding to a color sample to print a color patch in a specified timing and judges whether or not an applied profile is appropriate, based on a colorimetric value of the printed color patch. Thus, stable color reproduction can be realized by appropriately dealing with unexpected apparatus characteristic variations or profile selection error or the like.
