<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the removing efficiency of an image signal in a receiving device which removes the image signal included in a receive signal. <P>SOLUTION: In low-pass frequency converting means 3-6, a receive signal is multiplied by a signal of a frequency which has an offset to a receive frequency so that the receive signal is subjected to frequency conversion to a low frequency range. In analog digital conversion means 9, 10, the receive signal which has been subjected to frequency conversion is converted to a digital signal. In a DC offset factor removing means 21, a DC offset factor is removed from the receive signal which has been converted to the digital signal. The receive signal with a removed DC offset factor is compensated in phase and amplification by signal compensation means 22, 23. In an image signal removing means 24, an image signal is removed from the receive signal, which has been compensated in phase and amplification.
