PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning device, wherein components of the device can be attached to an extremely narrow space without spoiling a function as the device and strength. SOLUTION: The cleaning device 60 of a photoreceptor drum 21 has a scraper 63 and a holding member 64 which holds the scraper. The scraper 63 removes toner adhered to a cleaning roller 61 by scraping it. The holding member 64 is formed by punching a metal plate, the scraper 63 is joined and held on a surface on the opposite side of a punched surface 64a. Thus, a sufficient joining margin is obtained by increasing size of the holding member 64. As a result, the scraper 63 which is the component of the cleaning device 60 can be attached to the extremely narrow space while maintaining the function of scraping the toner adhered to the cleaning roller 61, and the strength.
