OSCILLATION MAGNETIC GENERATION DEVICE, ELECTROMAGNET DRIVE CIRCUIT, AND PARTS FEEDER USING THE SAME

A simple oscillation magnetic field generation device is improved so as to reduce the time constant of an electromagnetic energy emission circuit, suppress heating in an electromagnet, and stabilize the oscillation magnetic field. The oscillation magnetic field generation device (120) includes an electromagnet (4) having inductance L and a resistance value r; and an electromagnet drive circuit (5) for driving the electromagnet (4). Excitation current is supplied from a DC power source (11) to the electromagnet (4). The electromagnet drive circuit (5) includes: a switching element (12) for controlling on/off of the excitation current; an electromagnetic energy emission circuit for emitting energy accumulated in the electromagnet (4) when the switching element (12) is off; and pulse generation means (10) for generating a pulse signal to be supplied to the switching element (12). The electromagnetic energy emission circuit includes a circuit having a series connection of a diode (13) and a resistor (14) having a resistance value R greater than the resistance value r, which circuit is connected in parallel to the electromagnet (4). By cyclically supplying a pulse signal tot he switching element (12), it is possible to generate an oscillation magnetic field having the cycle of the pulse signal in the electromagnet (4).
