<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-level disinfection or sterilization system and method of an endoscope. <P>SOLUTION: This high-level disinfection or sterilization system of the endoscope 30 having a first portion adapted for immersion and a second portion not adapted for immersion has a container, and the container includes: a first basin 12 sized and adapted to receive the first portion of the endoscope for immersion; a separate and adjacent second basin 14 sized and adapted to receive the second portio of the endoscope; a wall 48 between the first basin and the second basin; and a trough 40 in an upper portion of the wall between the first basin and the second basin through which a tube 38 connecting the first portion of the endoscope and the second portion of the endoscope may extend. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
