<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recorder capable of preventing uncured ink from adhering to the inside of the recorder or a worker upon occurrence of jamming in a recording medium, and to provide an image recorder capable of preventing uncured ink from adhering surely by curing it. <P>SOLUTION: The image recorder comprises a recording head 18 for ejecting ink to a recording medium P, moving units 12 and 14 for moving the recording medium P and the recording head 18 relatively, an irradiator 21 for irradiating light in order to stiffen ink ejected onto the recording medium, a detector 34 for detecting jamming of the recording medium P, and a control section 23 for forbidding jamming process if uncured ink exists on the recording medium when the jam detector 34 detects jamming of the recording medium P. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
