<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cartridge, a residual quantity detecting device for a fuel cell, and an electronic apparatus, capable of accurately and surely controlling the residual quantity of fuel. <P>SOLUTION: This fuel cartridge 1 is equipped with a rewritable storage device 13 storing information, regarding the residual quantity of contained fuel. This residual quantity detecting device 3 for this fuel cell is equipped with a cartridge-mounting part 31 to which the fuel cartridge 1 can be mounted, a read and write means 31 for reading and writing information for the storage device 13 of the fuel cartridge 1, and a fuel consumption measuring means for measuring the consumption of fuel in the fuel cartridge 1, and a residual quantity computing means 343 to compute the current residual quantity of fuel in the fuel cartridge 1, and updates the information regarding the current residual quantity of fuel which has been computed by the residual quantity computing means 341, by overwriting it in the storage device 13 of the fuel cartridge 1 by the read and write means 341. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
