<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method that has high general-purpose properties in a chemical substance group having hydrolytic activity such as protease activity, etc., and in a chemical substance group exercising an influence on hydrolytic activity and specifically, rapidly and simply detects the chemical substance. <P>SOLUTION: The method for specifically, rapidly and simply detecting a substance to be detected dependent on hydrolytic activity without using an antibody comprises utilizing a solid-phase surface 4 on which a substrate 3 to be hydrolyzed is immobilized, reacting a specimen containing a substance to be detected having hydrolytic activity or properties of increasing or decreasing other hydrolase activity with the solid-phase surface 4 and detecting the amount of the substrate left on the solid-phase surface 4 without being hydrolyzed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
