<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor with a browser display function, making the optimum error notification control according to the using state of an operation panel, and also to provide a method for notifying a user of the abnormality of the image processor. <P>SOLUTION: A display control part 33 inquires of a notification method determination part 36 about an error display method by using a device error code detected by an abnormality sort judgment part 31 for judging the abnormality sort of a device error of a copying machine 100 and picture display information 51 related with a picture being displayed on an operation panel 101 at present. The notification method determination part 36 refers to an abnormality notification control management table 50, determines a display method of an error picture on the basis of the device error code and the displaying picture ID 51 and makes a response to the display control part 33.
