<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reformer of a fuel cell system capable of further improving performance by a simple structure, and to provide the fuel cell system which adopts it. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system includes the reformer to generate hydrogen from a fuel containing the hydrogen, and at least one electricity generating part to generate electric energy by an electrochemical reaction of the hydrogen and oxygen. The reformer includes a plurality of reaction parts to generate hydrogen from the fuel containing hydrogen, a plurality of heating parts which provide thermal energy to respective reaction parts and are provided with catalyst, and a main body in which the plurality of reaction parts and the heating parts are installed at the inner space.
