PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus, a service function division rule method and a service function division rule program which easily enable a service function means according to an arrangement of a compound device. SOLUTION: A service function means processing a request for a predetermined service function is divided into a master service function means 101 and a sub-service function means 102. The sub-service function means 102 performs a registration request to the master service function means 101 in operation state, and performs processing of requests distributed from the master service function means 101.
