To provide a ventilating device which is provided with an indirect evaporative cooling function and installable in a house. A ventilating device (1A) is provided with a water supply and drainage device (12) for supplying water to the indirect evaporative element (11) of an indirect evaporative cooling unit (4). The water supply and drainage device (12) comprises a water supply valve (12a) for controlling supply of water to the indirect evaporative element (11), a drain pan (13) for receiving water, a drain valve (12b) for controlling drainage of water in the drain pan (13), wherein water supply and drainage control is made according to the water level or the like of the water collected in the drain pan (13).
