<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal device and a user interface display control method for an image forming apparatus in the terminal device which store a control program corresponding to two or more kinds of image forming apparatuses, start up the control program according to the kind of the connected image forming apparatus and display a UI screen of the image forming apparatus on a display unit of the terminal device. <P>SOLUTION: The terminal device 20 stores a display control program 281 and an image forming apparatus UI display program 282 for displaying a UI screen of the image forming apparatus A10 connectable via a terminal device external connection I/F 24 on the display unit 26 via an input/output device I/F 25, in a terminal device HDD 28, selects and starts up the image forming apparatus UI display program 282 according to status information 131 notified by the control of an external display control program 162 and an operation mode 132, and displays the UI screen according to the operation mode 132. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
