PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent degradation of a display quality caused by horizontal crosstalk. SOLUTION: An image signal correcting circuit corrects and supplies an image signal to a display panel wherein each data line is precharged to a prescribed voltage and then the image signal is applied to pixel electrodes located in a selected scan line through the data line. The image signal correcting circuit comprises: a subtractor 312 for calculating a difference between a reference gray scale level represented by a reference signal Ref and a gray scale level of the pixel indicated by an image signal VID; an integrator 314 for integrating a subtraction output result Def with respect to one row of pixels located in the selected scan line; and an adder 322 for supplying a result obtained by multiplying an integral Int by a coefficient k1, as the corrected image signal.
