PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective and appropriate method for accurately estimating vibration speed in blasting. SOLUTION: Vibration speed V, the amount W of explosive per step, and a distance D from a blasting place to a vibration speed measuring point, are acquired beforehand by a blasting test. A regression expression of a K value and vibration speed V in a vibration speed estimation expression V=K×W<SP>m</SP>×D<SP>n</SP>is obtained based on the acquired values. Using the regression expression, a computed K value is computed from a vibration speed control value of an object to be controlled, and the computed K value is adopted as the K value in the vibration speed estimation expression to estimate the vibration speed V in the object from the amount W of explosive per step and the distance D. In this estimating method, the vibration speed V in the object is estimated, and the amount W of explosive per step used for blasting is regulated so that the estimated vibration speed does not exceed the control value.
