PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain high-quality cultured pearls having a high-class feeling and to provide a method for culturing the cultured pearls in a high yield. SOLUTION: In the pearl culture method with which pearl nuclei are inserted into pearl oysters for pearl culture and cultured and cultured pearls having formed pearl layers on the surfaces of the pearl nuclei are recovered from the pearl oysters, nucleated freshwater pearls 2 are used as the pearl nuclei.
