PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal container with a structure capable of decreasing a deformation on a partial opening part formed on a body caused by a load during seaming as much as possible. SOLUTION: The metal container in which the partial opening part communicating with the inner part and the outer part of the container is provided on the body part 3 with a double-seamed structure by piling a seamed flange part 51 provided on the opening end of the body part 2 and a seamed curl part 52 of a lid body 4, is characterized by that a notch 8 with a specified shape extending from the seamed flange part 51 to the body part 2 is provided in advance, and a double-seamed structure is formed by piling the discontinuous seamed flange part 51 and the seamed curl part 52 of the lid body 4, and the partial opening part is composed by the notch 8.
