<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembling method of an optical pickup device and the device in which the alignment of the optical axis centers of a condenser lens and a wavelength compatible element is easily performed. <P>SOLUTION: The optical pickup device is provided with a wavelength compatible element 8 and a condenser lens 11 which condenses laser light beams emitted from the wavelength compatible element 8 onto an optical disk. The wavelength compatible element 8, in which a first mark 9 is formed in the peripheral section of the element, is stored and supported in a wavelength compatible element holder 7 having a first opening section A. The condenser lens 11, in which a second mark 12 is formed in the peripheral section of the lens, is stored and supported in a condenser lens holder 10 having a second opening section B that is wider than the first opening section A. The wavelength compatible element holder 7, that stores and supports the wavelength compatible element 8, is loaded onto the condenser lens holder 10 that stores and supports the wavelength compatible element 8. Then, assembling is conducted by illuminating reference light beams from the top of the condenser lens 11 so as to adjust and match the first and the second marks 9 and 12 on the optical axis of the laser light beams. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
