<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reversible thermal recording medium which has excellent recording repeatability, light resistance and durability. <P>SOLUTION: This reversible thermal recording medium 10 has reversible thermal recording layers 31 to 33 containing in a resin a thermal color developing composition which can reversibly change in two ways, i.e. colorless or colored, depending on temperature variations, formed in a planar direction of a supporting substrate 1.
