<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the characteristics of a golf club by selecting materials or a structure of a multicomponent. <P>SOLUTION: A metal wood golf club is adapted to be connected to a shaft, and has a first main body part and a second main body part. Respective main body parts are composed of materials with different densities. The first main body part adopts a high-density material, and the second main body part adopts a low-density material. Thus, the center of gravity is placed at a considerably lower position relative to the center of a geometric face, and the ratio of shooting angle/spin rate is increased. The lower region of a front face is made thicker to lower the center of gravity, and the maximum position in coefficient of restitution is shifted upward to the center of the geometric face. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
