PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feature identification device, wherein the flexibility of arrangement is high and there are a lot of identifiable types. SOLUTION: This feature identification device is provided with a first feature extracting part for extracting the projection region of a first image feature from an image, a second feature extracting part for extracting the projection region of a second image feature positioned in the periphery of the first image feature from the image and a first feature identifying part for identifying the first image feature from the number and/or topology of the second image feature positioned in the periphery of the first image feature.
