PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently detect a home position without spoiling quality as a product. SOLUTION: When the enter key (release button) of a cellular phone is half depressed, a pulse current in a forward direction is applied to a stator in response to that, so that a lens holder 14 moves forward. At such a time, a projection 31 on the lens holder 14 side is fit in a guide groove 32 on a fixed frame 15 side, whereby the rotation of the lens holder 14 is regulated. When the lens holder 14 moves to a front side terminal position, the contact of an contact piece 34 on the projection 31 side with contact pieces 35a and 35b on a guide groove 32 side is detected, and an on-signal is outputted from a position detection switch 33.
