<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a user must be conscious of which multifunction machine a desired document is registered in addition to the image deterioration of outputted document being large as opposed to a registration document with high image quality and remarkable full coloring in a configuration for taking out the registration document from remote by facsimile transmitting and receiving. <P>SOLUTION: The multifunction device includes a document managing unit 28 having functions of forming a document ID for identifying the registration document, based on the electronic data of the registration document by each of digital multifunction machines which can communicate mutually through a network 16 and connecting and managing the document ID and the registration document; and a network document retrieving unit 30 having functions of retrieving the registration document based on the document ID, transmitting the retrieving request to known other digital multifunction machine in the network 16, receiving the retrieving request from other digital multifunction machine, retrieving the registration document corresponding to the document ID, and relaying the retrieving request to the known other digital multifunction machine in the network 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
