A wheel sleeve having a grinding wheel is securely mounted on a wheel spindle through a resilient collet member received in a tapered bore portion thereof such that wheel sleeve is accurately positioned at a right angle relative to the wheel spindle by a spacing collar having end surfaces which are perpendicular to the wheel spindle.
