The pharmaceutical package is a syringe (1), a vial or capsule, with an identification (23) which is inaccessible or integrated into it at the disk (19) of the finger flange (21) of the syringe body cylinder (3). The identification is a microchip encapsulated within the syringe plastics material, with a separate antenna embedded in conductive plastics as a radio frequency identification (RFID) chip to be accessed by a high frequency scanner.
