<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stripper of a subsidiary wire for an optical cable, in which optical fibers are not damaged in the case of stripping off a jacket, there is no fear of executer's injury, and jacket dust is not scattered. <P>SOLUTION: The optical cable subsidiary wire stripper 100 comprises a cylindrical body 8, a cutting edge unit 2 arranged on one-end side of the cylindrical body 8 and having a subsidiary wire insertion hole 4 into which a subsidiary wire part 18 of an optical cable separated along a separation groove 22 is inserted and a position regulation member 10 arranged on the other end side of the cylindrical body 8 at a prescribed interval from the cutting edge unit 2 and capable of regulating the position of the subsidiary wire part 18 in the longitudinal direction. The cutting edge unit 2 is constituted so that a plate-like base part 3 and a truncated cone part 1 projected to the cylindrical body inner side of the base part 3 are integrally formed and the subsidiary wire insertion hole 4 is adapted to penetrate the cutting edge unit 2 on the center part of the truncated cone part 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
