<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drawing method by which drawing can be performed even in an optical disk to which focus servo is hardly applied and which has poor quality and to provide an optical disk recording apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A vibration signal is applied to a focus actuator 30 of an optical pickup 14 while a recordable optical disk 10 is rotated and an objective lens 24 is vibrated in its optical axis direction. A laser beam 18 emitted from a laser diode 16 is modulated by an image signal. When a focal position of the light beam repetitively passes through an data recording layer of the optical disk by the vibration of the vibration signal, a recording spot is formed in the data recording layer to change visible light characteristics of the data recording layer.
