PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for manufacturing a linear motor armature which can correctly position the tip of an iron core, and can suppress to the minimum the effect of the mispositioning of the iron core caused by the hardening shrinkage of resin after resin molding. SOLUTION: The device for manufacturing a linear motor armature is provided with a plurality of insulated split cores 1 each having a block shape, an armature winding 3 obtained by winding a coil in the slot of the split iron core 1, a mounting base 4 for fixing the plurality of the split iron cores 1, and molds 8, 9 for covering the entire split iron cores and carrying out molding. The device is furthermore provided with a positioning fixture 7 having a groove 7A which is formed into a shape to be engaged with the tip 1B of the split iron core 1 between the tip 1B of the split iron core 1 and inside surfaces of the molds 8, 9 so that the tip 1B of the split iron core 1 can be accurately aligned, when the plurality of split iron cores 1 are aligned in the linear direction.
