PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data decoding device which is capable of shortening a sound interruption or a title interruption which occur when a voice or a title is changed. SOLUTION: The data decoding device decodes data subjected to compression coding, is equipped with a demultiplexing means that divides data subjected to compression coding into a plurality of unit data, divides one or more kinds of data packs from the unit data, and tags the data packs divided from the same unit data so as to enable them to be identified and a decoding means which decodes the data packs divided from the same unit data by the unit data while monitoring the tags.
