PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stick cosmetic extending container in which a claw piece to hold a stick cosmetic provided at the head of a core chuck member is unerringly correctly positioned in sliding grooves in a head cylinder at assembly. SOLUTION: The head cylinder 10 is provided with a through-hole 13 of the same size as a head opening 11, a plurality of sliding grooves 12 are provided along the through-hole 13, the cavity portion 15 side rear ends of ridge portions 14 are formed of a taper portion 14a having apex portions 14b between the sliding groove 12 and the sliding groove 12 to facilitate the guidance of the claw piece 32 of the core chuck member 30 into the sliding grooves 12.
