<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform configuration/change/addition/deletion for access rights to be provided to users/groups for documents/folders that are stored in an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A main controller of a digital composite machine 201 receives instructions generated by operations on a client PC 202 through a network controller and a printer controller.
