PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal apparatus provided with a finger print sensor which may be reduced in size without deteriorating operation ability. SOLUTION: The mobile terminal apparatus comprises a finger print sensor 15 having a sensor surface S1 to which a finger is placed, four push switches 16a to 16d provided around the finger print sensor 15, a manipulating body 14 which is manipulated with a finger placed on the sensor surface S1 to realize the input manipulation through depression of push switches 16a to 16d, a storage unit 11b allowing registration of the finger print information for personal authentication and the desired input sequence to the push switches 16a to 16d, a first collating unit 11c for authentication with finger print, and a second collating unit 11d for authentication with input sequence. In this structure of the mobile terminal apparatus, the main power source, for example, is turned ON when results of collation by the first and second collating units 11c, 11d are matched.
