PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a channel adapter shared from a plurality of OSs by only producing an address conversion table without changing control data for executing input/output processing, in a data processing system wherein the plurality of OSs operate. SOLUTION: In this data processing system, the plurality of OSs each use the input/output processing control data having a different identifier to one channel adapter, and the input/output processing is performed without sharing the input/output processing control data to the channel adapter between the different OSs. The data processing system reproduces a plurality of address conversion tables produced by the respective OSs into one virtual address conversion table, and the channel adapter processes the input/output processing control data on the plurality of OSs by use of the virtual address conversion table.
