<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic body detecting device with which the detection accuracy of a magnetic body is improved by arranging a dummy coil so that the magnetic body can be detected in a wide range. <P>SOLUTION: This magnetic body detecting device for detecting a magnetic body by giving a magnetic field to the magnetic body from an exciting coil and a detection coil detecting a magnetic field generated from the magnetic body by the magnetic field is provided with the exciting coil for generating a magnetic field for exciting the magnetic body and the dummy coil for transmitting a magnetic field for exciting the magnetic body by electromagnetic induction by the magnetic field generated from the exciting coil. In the dummy coil at a part facing the exciting coil, induced current by the exciting coil is opposite to current flowing in the exciting coil at a part facing the dummy coil. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
