摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device with low power consumption, a method for manufacturing the liquid crystal display device, and an electronic apparatus using the liquid crystal display device. <P>SOLUTION: A reflection film 11 and an organic EL element 9 are provided on a pixel electrode 8 in a substrate 3 of the liquid crystal display device 1, and a light emitting region E and a reflection region R are formed for every pixel electrode 8. Thus, a hybrid liquid crystal display device 1 capable of emitting light rays by using the organic EL element 9, for example, without providing a backlight, and reflecting and using external light rays with the reflection film 11 of the reflection region R, thereby reducing the power consumption than the apparatus composed of onlt the light emitting region E, and increasing the usability in the outdoor and also obtaining an excellent display even in the condition where the external light is intensive. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
