<p>Title cpds of formula (I) (where T is 2-5C alkyl, R is halogen, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, NO2, (lower alkoxy)-(lower alkyl), di (lower alkyl)amino, lower alkylsulphonylamido, di (lower alkyl) sulphonylamido or lower alkanoylamino, and n is 0 or 1) and their salts and hydrated forms, which are acid-resistant, orally active broad-spectrum bactericides, are prepd. by reacting 6-aminopenicillanic acid, the carboxyl gp of which is protected, with an acid of formula (II) or a reactive deriv., eliminating protecting gps, and opt. converting the prod. into a salt.</p> |
