PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alkali ion water generator which has excellent adaptability to water quality and practicality which can easily adjust a pH value generated against an initial setting fixed supply voltage even when the quality of water is insufficient to generate ion water having a predetermined pH value with the initial setting fixed supply voltage, as the ratio of the flow rate of delivery water to the flow rate of discharge water can be changed by regulating the amount of the discharge water, excellent in energy saving without requiring increase in the electrolysis voltage of an electrode plate, can suppress the use of the addition amount of a calcium compound, and has excellent economical efficiency and usability which can reduce the amount of the discharge water when the quality of water is sufficient to generate the ion water having the predetermined pH value at the initial setting fixed supply voltage. SOLUTION: This alkali ion water generator has a discharge pipe 11 communicating with an electrolytic cell 7 and discharging alkali ion water or acidic ion water, and has a flow control part 21 arranged in the discharge pipe 11.
