<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric conversion film in which a half-value width of absorption is narrow and which is excellent in color reproduction and which further has a high photoelectric conversion efficiency and to provide a photoelectric conversion element and an imaging element (preferably a color image sensor), etc. <P>SOLUTION: The photoelectric conversion film includes at least one methine dye compound (preferably cyanine dye, rhodacyanine dye, and further preferably cyanine dye).
