PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk device in which exterior appearance is improved by hiding traverse in loading/unloading the disk to/from the device in order not to be touched by a user. SOLUTION: By loading the disk on a disk loading surface of a front cover arranged by fixing between a standby position and a recording reproducing position of the disk loading surface on a turntable, disk loading is performed. In an opening part for the turntable insertion arranged in the disk loading side of the front cover, opening-and-closing member is disposed with concave to the disk loading side, the opening-and-closing member is configured at a position for closing the opening part in a state where the disk can be loaded or unloaded to/from the device.
