PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection surface for a biosensor with nonspecific adsorption suppressed. SOLUTION: This biosensor comprises a metallic surface coated with hydrophobic high-polymer or a metallic film. The surface of the biosensor is partly modified by using a linker comprising an end formable into chelate together with a metal having an affinity to physiologically active substances.
