PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sanitary pad which is deformed easily by following a groin part of a body and has a liquid absorbent layer which is not broken or deformed by external force. SOLUTION: This sanitary pad 1 includes a back surface sheet, a surface sheet 12, and the liquid absorbent layer 14, and has joining patterns 15a, 15b, 15c, 15d formed by joining the surface sheet 12 and the liquid absorbent layer 14 on the surface on the side of human skin. A plurality of cuts 17 are formed on the liquid absorbent layer 14 in an enclosed region enclosed by the joining patterns. The liquid absorbent layer 14 is easily deformed by forming the cuts 17.
